I was born and bred in Surrey, but since 1998 I have lived in sunny Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. I live with my two sons - trying very hard to hold onto my Surrey accent!
For years I persevered with boring jobs, until my two boys joined my nest and I was allowed to stay at home. In an attempt to find something to work around my sons, and to ensure I never endured full time boredom again, I found writing.
At first it was an addictive hobby, then, in 2009, wanting to improve my craft (in the hope I might get paid), I embarked on a voyage - the Writer’s Bureau Comprehensive Writing Course.
I joined the RNA New Writers' Scheme in 2012 and in the summer of 2013, my dream came true, and my first novel, Plus One is a Lucky Number was published by Harper Collins' imprint, HarperImpulse. One Fine Day followed in 2015, and my latest novel, Meet Me At Wisteria Cottage was published April 2017.
In 2016 I was thrilled to have Keane Kataria Literary Agency agree to represent me.
I am at my happiest baking cakes, putting proper home cooked dinners on the table (whether the kids eat them or not), reading a good romance, or sitting at my PC emptying the thoughts from my head onto the screen.
I love writing contemporary romance, creating heroes readers will fall in love with. Men who in reality, let’s face it, just don’t exist. I love creating stories with a touch of escapism.
